Nothing's Shocking
**While trying to write songs for "AAHHHHD's and Ends" I was stricken with a bad case of writers block. When I finally came up with an idea about a song about electricity, I just went with it, and "Nothing's Shocking" came out. Unfortunately, its recording doesn't really do the song justice.**
Plug myself into a power outlet
Just to see watts inside
Flow with the current inside and outside
And see what, what I find
Hook me up I'm wired
Tired, Uninspired
My life needs a jolt
Gimme 50,000 Volts
Directly, nothing's shocking
My life needs a spark
Alternately turn me on, I'm like a light
I spend all day in the dark
Hook me up I'm wired
Tired, Uninspired
My life needs a jolt
Gimme 50,000 Volts
the light of day
I need a lift, that's what they say
Better take out the defibrillator, that much is clear
Do it fast, we've got a flat liner here
Hook me up I'm wired
Tired, Uninspired
My life needs a jolt
Gimme 50,000 Volts (x2)
